Youth Delegation Heads to Kitale for KAYO Conference

Today, 52 youths and officials from the Diocese of Mumias have journeyed to Kitale for the provincial Kenya Anglican Youth Organisation (KAYO) conference, taking place from August 19th to 23rd, 2024, at Kitale Primary and Secondary Schools. Led by Revd Billy Wetoto, the diocesan youth coordinator, the group embarked on this event following the end of the Youth Week.

Before their departure, Bishop Joseph Wandera offered blessings and urged them to embrace both fellowship and spiritual growth during their stay in Kitale.

The conference, themed “A Wholesome Youth for a Wholesome Family” based on Acts 10:2, will feature distinguished speakers, including Archbishop of the Anglican church of Kenya, the Most Reverend Dr. Jackson ole Sapit, Rt Rev Dr. John Omangi, Bishop of Upper Southern Nyanza Diocese and provincial KAYO chairman, and Rt Rev Major (rtd) Sam Gachathi, Bishop of Nyahururu Diocese, who will deliver the main address.
