Rev Dr. Robert Black Urges Christians to Overcome Fear

“Refuse to let fear stop your work” was the powerful message shared by Rev Dr. Robert Black during the second Sunday of Lent service at ACK Bishop James Hannington Cathedral, Mumias.

Preaching to a large congregation led by Rt Rev Dr. Joseph Wandera, Bishop of the Diocese of Mumias, and Provost Canon Kristos Khisa, Rev Dr. Black, the Rector of St. Luke’s Parish from the Episcopal Church, encouraged Christians with a reflection from Genesis 15. He reminded them that God’s promises require patience and waiting on His timing.

He also expressed his gratitude for the strong partnership between the Diocese of Mumias and the Episcopal Church Diocese of North Carolina.

Following the service, the St. Luke’s team attended a home cell fellowship at St. John Canaan Estate, where the gathering was filled with dance, joy, and a spirit of celebration.
