ACK Mumias Sacco Gears Up for Growth

ACK Mumias Sacco Ltd welcomed a team of executives from the national and county governments for an important assessment ahead of a World Bank grant. The delegation, representing the National Agriculture Value Chain Development Project (NAVCDP) and AMTECH, evaluated the Sacco’s preparedness for the funding.

The grant aims to empower small-scale farmers in the region by enhancing their market participation and value addition. To support this, the Sacco will receive modern digital systems to simplify the creation, deployment, and management of activities, ensuring efficiency and transparency.

The Sacco is set to become a driving force in regional agricultural development by supporting over 58 farmer groups in the region. The meeting was attended by Sacco officials, including Ven. Alfred Keyas, Lay Canon Dr. Paul Otsyeno, Harrison Barasa, and Eunice Oketch.
