Bishop Hannington Academy Joins ACK Ucheka School for Graduation Ceremony
Yesterday, teachers and pupils from Bishop Hannington Academy, a diocesan school, visited ACK Ucheka Comprehensive School in Malava Constituency for the PP2 graduation ceremony. The visit, aimed at supporting and raising awareness for both Anglican-founded schools, celebrated 23 pupils moving up to Grade One. ACK Ucheka, a young and growing institution, serves over 70 pupils but requires further development to meet the needs of its expanding student body.
The delegation was received by Senior Chief Malick Maina Shanguya, who committed to helping the school grow by increasing student admissions. The event was made possible through the coordination of Diocesan Education Secretary Madam Azibeta Odongo, with support from Canon Gard Wambunya.
The school is part of the diocesan mission area, which spans Navakholo and Malava constituencies, where efforts have been made to plant new churches and engage with the local community.
