Confirmation Service at ACK Mungakha Church
Today,over 29 people were admitted to the sacrament of Holy communion at ACK St. Stephens Mungakha parish. Bishop Joseph Wandera readmitted faithfuls to communion, urging them to enjoy fellowship with their Lord and saviour,Jesus Christ.
In a symbolic gesture of growth and renewal, Bishop Wandera planted a tree in the church compound, a living testament to the flourishing of faith and community.
Preaching at the parked service,based on the gospel of John 5. 51 to 58, Bishop Joseph Wandera exhorted Christians to a life of feeding and drinking on Jesus,the bread and blood of life.
Mungakha Parish, part of the Munami Archdeaconry within the Ngairwe Deanery, has a Christian population of approximately 194. The parish hosts Anglican founded Mungakha primary and secondary schools.
