Joyous Dedication Service for KCSE Candidates at St. Paul’s Lubinu
Dance, laughter, and celebration filled the air at ACK St. Paul’s Lubinu Church during the vibrant dedication service for 92 KCSE candidates from St. Paul’s Lubinu Girls Secondary School. The special event, led by Rt. Rev. Dr. Joseph Wandera, diocesan Bishop, saw parents, teachers, and the church community join in support.
The atmosphere was lively with music and thanksgiving, as Bishop Wandera encouraged the students with a powerful message from the story of Joshua in the bible “Arise go over this Jordan,” said bishop wandera. He reminded the girls to walk with faith, face their exams without fear, and to never give up, even in the face of temptation.
The school is aiming for a mean score of 7.25 in this year’s exams. Before the service, Bishop Wandera dedicated a new ablution block in the school grounds and planted symbolic trees, representing growth and hope for the future. With prayers, music, and thanksgiving, the service filled the students with confidence as they approach their exams.
Present during the occasion were chair of the board Mrs linet Ochola, PA chair Mr Dominic Rapando, Canon Trizer Osundwa, Venerable Alfred Keyas, Diocesan Education Secretary Mrs Azibeta Odongo among others.
