Professor Wajackoyah supports Tumaini Mumias
Tumaini Mumias, the Diocesan social outreach arm under Ebenezer children and youth center, was filled with joy as Professor George Luchiri Wajackoya, the Roots Party leader, delivered on his promise of support. True to his word, just a day after pledging assistance, he returned with an abundance of essential items, including maize flour, sugar, cooking oil, bread, footwear, toiletries and soccer balls.
The professor’s generosity will greatly bolster Tumaini Mumias’ outreach program for street children. During his visit, Wajackoya shared his personal story, inspiring the children with his journey from life on the streets to becoming a prominent leader.“You can rise above your challenges,” he told them.
The heartfelt mentorship and tangible support left a lasting impact on the children and Tumaini Mumias as a whole. We are deeply grateful to Professor Wajackoya for championing our mission to uplift the vulnerable in our community. Present during the presentation were Tumaini Mumias Coordinator Shalom Orembo and the Diocesan Administrative assistant Faith Nyawira.
